Tips to stick to your workout routine

Sticking to that workout routine and healthy lifestyle makes you feel so much stronger and empowered which makes everything in life seem easier. So here we are with our top tips especially for you, to make sure you will be able to stick to your workout plans.

We know the struggle, life can get hectic at times and we tend to drop workouts from our schedule before anything else. But we also know, that sticking to that workout routine and healthy lifestyle makes you feel so much stronger and empowered which makes everything in life seem easier. So here we are with our top tips especially for you, to make sure you will be able to stick to your workout plans.

  1. Scheduled, set, go!

Make sure to schedule it. Sign up for a class or set a workout appointment with your workout buddy and put it in your agenda like you would with any other appointment. That way it’s more official and you’ll be reminded of it every time you’re making plans, this makes it less likely to fade into the back of your head and be forgotten.

  1. Find your timing.

Working out is fun and it should be, but we’re not motivated equally every single day. So doing whatever you can to make it easier on yourself is a win. That’s why you should schedule your workout at a time that works best for you. We like to do it first thing in the morning or straight after a day of work in the evening. Because we know if we crash on the couch first, we won’t be able to get our butt moving again. So find the time that’s best for you and stick to it!

  1. Switch things up!

Doing some sort of sport/workout/fitness that you actually enjoy makes it way easier. But with time we found that switching things up can help to keep it interesting. Find the workouts you enjoy most and switch them up along the week. That way you work different parts of your body so your entire body gets strong, you work on your endurance and you’ll stay far away from injuries.

Remember rest is equally important as working out. So if you’re really not feeling it sometimes, or you feel like your body is way to exhausted, then take some rest. It’s okay to not always make it to the gym, as long as you take care of your body and promise to try your best again tomorrow!
